Little Rainbows Nusery was opened in November 2021 with the aim of providing flexible and affordable childcare options for parents in Wallsend and the surrounding North Tyneside areas.

We operate on a strong ethos built around child-led, play-based learning. We have adopted the concepts of Hygge and The Curiosity Approach within our setting to provide a unique home-from-home feel.

Our nursery setting has been carefully designed with our ethos in mind, providing a calm and tranquil space for children to learn, explore and discover their world in a safe and supportive environment.

    Calming indoor space

    Little Rainbows is all about giving children the space and freedom to engage in immersive, child-learning play in a safe, calm and comfortable environment. Our setting is furnished for a cosy feel, and provides spaces for quiet time and self-regulation.

    Our nursery cook prepares meals fresh every day, with a focus on nutritional balance to ensure your child's growing body and developing brain get what they need. We are a peanut-free nursery, and cater to various dietary requirements.

    Secure, private garden

    Little Rainbows has a beautiful, private, secure garden area which wraps around the side and rear of the property. Set up with toy vehicles, a mud kitchen and child-safe obstacle course, children can explore, create and imagine out in nature.

    Regular updates

    When you join us, you'll be given access to the Famly app, where we share updates throughout the day. We keep parents posted on everything from nap times to activities and what their child has had to eat.
